Michael Pan
Michael Pan is Geek-in-Residence at Quest Ventures, a top venture capital firm in Asia. He works closely with startups to accelerate their growth through a combination of incubation services and programmes. He is also responsible for technology evaluation and horizon scanning for emerging technologies.
Michael is also technical director of Huobi Group, a leading global blockchain asset financial service provider. With a mission to make investing in alternative assets more efficient and adaptable, the company is committed to providing customers with safe, professional, and honest services based on the core principle of putting the customer first.
Prior to this, Michael was founder and CEO of Jetbay, a venture-backed, Silicon Valley company that aimed to be the world’s largest travel research and booking platform for China. Before this, Michael was the co-founder of Jeehe, an events and social meetup site; and a founding team member of 55tuan (NASDAQ).
Michael has a Bachelors in Information Security from the Tianjin University of Technology where he was ranked at the top of his class.
