Creating the next generation of global companies
Scale Quest is a programme between the National Academy for Advanced Technology and Innovation (NACENTECH) Vietnam and Quest Ventures.
The programme creates the next generation of global companies with Vietnam’s top scientists through transforming inventive technologies into commercially viable products and feasible business ventures.
Having spent a lot of time supporting the community and hosting investment connection forums, I found the training to be an incredible experience. It went beyond just theory, offering ‘sharp’ and battle-tested tools. I am much more confident now in designing incubation programs and connecting resources.
Truly impressed with how well-structured the program was and how closely aligned it was with the practical needs of Da Nang’s innovation and startup ecosystem. Beyond providing both fundamental and advanced knowledge, it also offered a comprehensive perspective on ecosystem operations – from government agencies and support organisations to businesses and investors. Insights from local and international experts and mentors – especially on global best practices – gave me valuable strategic perspectives that can be readiy applied in practice. The interactive discussions helped addressed many key challenges related to legal, business models, and long-term development strategies.
Ecosystem support in Vietnam
The Vietnam Global Innovation is Quest Ventures’ exclusive program with the Global Innovation Alliance to accelerate the entry of innovative startups into Vietnam.
The Global Innovation Alliance is managed by Enterprise Singapore, an agency of the Ministry of Trade & Industry in Singapore. It aims to strengthen linkages and partnerships with leading innovation hubs around the world, increasing access and opportunities for Singapore students and enterprises.
The programme exceeded my expectations – not just in the quality of the programme itself, but in how supported I felt throughout. Quest Ventures clearly puts real care into this. For me, the biggest win was walking away with clarity on Vietnam market entry – something I had been circling for a while. What stood out was how well-organised everything was, and the support from the Quest Ventures team felt personal, not transactional. Highly recommended to any founder seriously considering expansion into Vietnam.
Very well organised. The vetting and the ground work done prior to the visit helped a lot. The participation of key leadership in the discussions showed the openness to embrace new technology and ideas. The intense program was an accelerated market visit that covered a diversity of potential business partners and investors. Given the amount of time, the coverage was balanced and appropriate. Visits were adjusted based on pre-trip feedback on who we would like to meet, enabling us to calibrate our assumptions. The programme provided a clearer vision of our growth strategy going forward.
