Jasmine Chen is an Analyst at Quest Ventures, a top venture capital firm in Asia. She works closely with startups to accelerate their growth through a combination of acceleration services and programmes. She is also responsible for market access initiatives for key markets in Southeast Asia.
Prior to this, Jasmine was with OCBC Bank where she spearheaded the development of an anti-money laundering model, provided insights to product development, improved customer segment targeting, and reduced regulatory compliance risks.
Her latest project is building machine learning models for pricing forecasts. She was part of Ground Zero 2021 where she prototyped an AI-powered digital wallet. At Orbital Programme, she built a full-stack mobile app to reduce food wastage on the university campus.
As Director of Marketing at the Sheares freshmen orientation camp, Jasmine planned and executed programs for hundreds of hall residents. At the NUS Computing Club, she organised sporting and welfare events as part of internal relations. At Victoria Junior College, she was Captain of the tennis team, as well as an ODAC member.
She attends startup events as a guest speaker and panelist. She is also a frequent host for international technology and startup delegations to Singapore.
Jasmine is a Business Analytics major from the National University of Singapore, and is a Teaching Assistant for the data management and visualisation module. For leisure, she enjoys tennis, ultimate frisbee, scuba-diving, and poker.
