Ong Hui Xian


Ong Hui Xian is an Analyst at Quest Ventures, a top venture capital fund in Asia. She works closely with startups to accelerate their growth through a combination of acceleration services and programmes.

Prior to this, Hui Xian was with TechNode Global where she conceptualised the creative direction for its events and client projects, managed its social media communications, and participated in the planning and execution of the ORIGIN Innovation Awards 2020, ORIGIN Conference, and Tech Insights Series. At the Ministry of Social and Family Development, she developed social media communications schedules, ideated Facebook contests, tabulated data for trends observation, and audited media campaigns as part of her work at the Gambling Safeguards Division.

As Project Director for the Freshmen Orientation Camp at the College of Alice & Peter Tan, she was responsible for the planning, execution and successful conclusion of the initiation of hundreds of new students. As a varsity athlete in Judo and an executive committee member of the NUS Judo Team, Hui Xian has won prizes including Bronze in the Judo Inter-Tertiary Championship.

Hui Xian was a recipient of the China Daily Prize for excellent academic performance; an Exemplary Character Award recipient; a Meritorious Award recipient for outstanding leadership qualities; an Edusave Character Award recipient; and an EAGLES Award recipient for outstanding leadership qualities, service to community and excellence in non-academic activities.

She attends startup events as a guest speaker and panelist. She is also a frequent host for international technology and startup delegations to Singapore.

Hui Xian is a Dean’s List recipient and ranked second in her cohort in her communications and new media major from the National University of Singapore. For leisure, she enjoys acting and judo.
