Anuar Seifullin is an Investment Director at Quest Ventures, a leading venture fund for technology companies that have scalability and replicability in large internet communities. He works closely with startups to accelerate their growth through a combination of acceleration services and programmes. He is also responsible for market access initiatives for key markets in Central Asia.
Prior to this, Anuar was the General Director of the ABC-I2BF Seed Fund, established jointly by Nazarbayev University and I2BF Global. The fund invested in early stage startups in the areas of HR-tech, robotic process automation, computer vision, machine learning, agritech and others. Before this, he was an investment manager with a joint fund by I2BF Global and VTB Capital.
Anuar is co-founder of QazAngels, Kazakhstan’s earliest and growing angel investment network. He is also a co-founder and board member of the Alliance of Technology Commercialization Professionals, the entity established for technology commercialization by the Government of Kazakhstan and the World Bank to create the necessary conditions for scientists in Kazakhstan to commercialize their developments on a systematic basis.
He has over ten years of experience in the fields of venture capital, private equity, asset management, and strategic consulting.
Anuar Seifullin has a MSc Finance from the University of Warwick, and BA in Finance & Credit from the Eurasian National University. For leisure, he enjoys traveling, running and reading.
